Culture Keepers at Suitland High School: The Prince George’s African American Museum & Cultural Center (PGAAMCC) is proud to present Culture Keepers! Culture Keepers is an after school program held at Suitland High School in Forestville, Maryland. Students enrolled in the Culture Keepers program are researchers and teachers of African American history, art, and culture. Each year, Culture Keepers engage in innovative projects that interpret Prince George’s African American history, art, and culture through dynamic visual and performing arts events, such as mural projects, cultural exchanges, and community forums.
Onarin Koja at EMEFM Antionio Sampio High School: Onarin Koja is a school program at EMEFM Antonio Sampaio High School in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Onarin Koja’s motto is “Walking in the paths of our Ancestors”. Students learn about Afro Brazilian culture through guest speakers, field trips, and hands on activities.
